Closing the 2017, Indonesian Brain Gain (IBG) Association (www.braingain.plimbi.com) once again, is hosting a free course for sort listed students and fresh graduates from different Universities. This time, partnering with Paradimn Geophysical Indonesia, one of the Technology provider in Upstream oil and gas industry, is holding a course on “Petrophysics - Basic Formation Evaluation”, a course that will help the participants to understand the characteristic of the rocks, which is important pieces of information in oil & gas exploration and exploitation.

The class is attended by 20 sort listed students from 85 applicants. Those students come from UPN, Trisakti, ITB, ITS, and UNHAS.

As part of our vision to contribute to the Indonesian human capital development this course is aimed to improve the level of competitiveness of our young generation.

Big appreciation to Oscar Pakpahan whom has successfully gathered individual with the same passion, frequency and energy to share and spend the time voulenteerly to prepare this course and other IBG’s free courses in the past. Those individuals include Radhi Muammar, Brandan Tito Ramadhan, Gian Antariksa, Yohanes Dimas Priambodho, Rebecca Putri, Chris Evan, Elga Abdurahman, Eka Putra and Oddy A Pranidhana. And indeed, thanks a lot to Paradim Geophysical for their sponsorship and full support.

Thanks to you all..Thanks for your dedication and accomplishment during 2017 even when the economic situation has been very unfortunate. Because of you all, our IBG program is sustained.

Wiseness begins when we start spending our time for others. That’s what we want from our young generation to be, that’s the generation that will make our nation prevail. Let’s start sharing and let us be the nearest example of others.
